Recovering the Forgotten Library of Orthodox Christianity
RareOrthodoxBooks.com publishes and restores works from the Orthodox Christian tradition that deserve to remain in circulation. Our focus includes the Church Fathers, Russian spiritual writers, saints and elders, monastic sources, Orthodox commentary, prayer and the inner life, and writings on death, judgment, and the last things.
Many of these texts are difficult to obtain in English, scattered across old publications, or unavailable in editions designed for contemporary readers. Our aim is straightforward: locate worthwhile texts, prepare them responsibly, and make them available again as books meant to be read and kept.
Our editions vary according to the source. Some are newly translated. Others are newly organized, restored, annotated, indexed, introduced, or combined from older material. Every edition is described clearly on its product page, so readers can see what distinguishes that particular book.
RareOrthodoxBooks.com is building a growing library of Orthodox works in English. Explore by writer, saint, subject, or tradition and follow the threads that lead deeper into the life of the Church.
