My Life in Christ grows out of Saint John of Kronstadt’s prayer, pastoral work, and self-examination. Its numbered meditations move through faith and doubt, the sacraments, humility, resentment, mercy, and the nearness of Christ in ordinary life. The journal form gives the reader permission to pause: a short passage can become the whole day’s reading. This English edition retains that structure across a substantial volume.
