Hear Christian catechesis from ancient Jerusalem.
The Ancient Catechism of Jerusalem joins instruction in the Creed to preparation for sacramental life. The opening exhortation, eighteen Catechetical Lectures, and five Mystagogical Catecheses traditionally associated with Cyril lead through repentance, faith, Baptism, Chrismation, and the Eucharist. This English volume allows readers to encounter early Christian teaching as a connected formation of belief and life, not merely a list of definitions.
