Enter the world of the Siberian elders.
Lives, letters, and spiritual instructions bring Saint Basilisk, Saint Zosima Verkhovsky, and other ascetics of Siberia into view. The collection combines the circumstances of wilderness life with counsel on prayer, obedience, poverty, and the heart’s attention to God. Readers interested in Orthodox eldership can follow relationships and experiences alongside the teachings, making this a substantial narrative companion to more familiar Optina volumes.
